Fall Internship Opportunity
Attention students!
We are now accepting resumes + cover letter’s for our fall internship position. Our internships are a great chance to get an insiders look at how an art gallery works, and are the perfect opportunity to learn all about the inner workings of a gallery. Are you interested in working in a gallery one day and want to learn more? Or are you an art or photo student who simply wants to educate themselves about gallery workings? Perhaps an art history major who wants to be immersed in a gallery environment? Regardless, we want to see you apply! Duties Include:
-Assisting in day to day operations
-Research, inventories, filing, etc.
-Gallery maintenance
-Assist in exhibit installation and de-installation
-Assistance during receptions & events
Requirements:
-Motivation and a positive attitude
-Interest and knowledge of art and/or photography
-Darkroom experience a plus but not required
-Neat appearance and personable
-Must be available for possible evening and/or Saturday work.
Hours:
-6-10 Hours per week depending on gallery schedule
